I use to have a HP printer and it went through ink all the time and quality was not great after first 3 or 4 pictures. VERY inexpensive Cannon is what I use now and have printed over 500 photos/cards. Even when it says it's low on ink I can still get about 5 more full size, good color prints.
(Just wish it was a little less expensive)
